Travels with J: Barcelona, Spain - 15 to 18 November, 2013 (Part 2: Days 3&4)

Parc Güell

For our third day in Barcelona, the only thing we planned on doing was partying; and before that, going to Parc Güell, which is yet another work of Gaudí. The weather that day was not perfect, but this outdoor park was still a nice place to chill.

Barca was the first trip Jarne and I planned to have. We booked the tickets more than a month in advance, since we were flying with the (in?)famous budget airline RyanAir. We scored roundtrip tickets from Charleroi, Belgium to Barcelona for about 65 Euros (around P4,000) per person. Not bad!!

It was Toussaint holiday in France, and I didn't have school for ten whole days! So, I dragged Jarne with me to Germany! My sister was around during this time, but she had already booked tickets to some plays and train tickets to other places (without inviting me!!) so I couldn't spend more time with her. 

Back Home

A perk of living in Europe is being to travel so easily to great places. I was able to do

14 cities. 6 countries. 4 months.

Not bad for a girl on a very tight budget :P
